My “style”?

I am apparently all over the map, style wise. I really looked at my top lists the other day and was struck by the fact that I seem to have at least 2 separate styles. Weird and funky.  here, I’ve grouped them in similar piles:
Group 1
Maud India Scarlett
Ottilie Alice Ghislaine
Zelda Lucy Violet
Edith Zenobia Violet
Lilias Mehetabel [...]

Update on Trixie

Down to four, yes, four combos for her. Absolutely adore all four, help me pick one? Please? Without further ado, here they are, in all their glory on this yucky, snowy day!

Beatrix India Pearl- Not only Trixie, I could call her Bippy (My Mother would laugh)!
Beatrix Violet Jane – sweet, simple and pretty. I wonder [...]

Raphael & Beatrix again

I’ve been thinking of Raphael up front after trying him out in the middle for a while. Still haven’t decided if I should use the standard Raphael spelling or go with the familial Rafael. I like both, it’s a tough choice. Standard spelling, less likely to be misspelled or family spelling, correct them occasionally and [...]

Help!

I want to narrow my top 10 to a top 5, at least for now. I’m going to either/or them and pick one? Thanks!

Ottilie or Jemima?
Winifred or Clementine?
Maud or Zelda?
Beatrix or Cecily?
Lucretia or Pomeline?

Cassius or Clarence?
Remy or Cosmo?
Rufus or Barnaby?
Alasdair or August?
Arthur or Francis?

I couldn’t choose if my life depended on it.  One minute it’s [...]

A completely new thought

What do you think of Daisy Angeline? I stuck them together in my head and am rather pleased with the overall image and sound. I came up  with a  few combos for them as a middle. I could never use Daisy as a standalone name!
What do you think of these:
Cecilia Daisy Angeline
Elspeth Daisy Angeline
Matilda Daisy [...]

The Battling Girls!

I am going crazy over girls names. With boys, I’m much pickier and it’s easier to figure out what I really like vs. what I simply enjoy. With boys, it’s practically a three way tie between Cosmo, Rufus & Barnaby and that’s about it. Everything else on the list pales by comparison. So it’ll be [...]

Beatrix revisited

I’m still not entirely happy with her combo. Beatrix Poppy Elinor stands until I find something that really makes my heart sing. I’ve got beginnings that intrigue me:
Beatrix Jemima Frances/May/Alice/Rose, Realised Beatrix Pandora Jane is pretty spectacular, And Beatrix Scarlet Jane is rather pretty too. Beatrix Alice Rupinder is really close to making my heart pitter-pat. [...]

Beatrix, Again

I can’t seem to let go of Beatrix, but I am rethinking her combo. Beatrix Poppy Elinor charms me with her upbeat sound and her bright colors but it feels almost too “British” if that makes any sense. But Beatrix, I can’t shake her off. I keep thinking “I hear her a lot online” And [...]

Garner/Affleck Baby!

Alright, so I’m a bit late getting to this myself. But I wanted to say Congratulations! to them here as well and to state unequivocally my vote for their new daughter’s name is Beatrice.     It fits all the criteria they said they were looking for, familiar, not super common, nothing trendy and fits so well [...]

I’ve been narrowing down the names I like for my #10 spot. And I’m running a poll at BtN right now to try to see which ones are liked best.

Vote in the poll or scroll down a bit to see the list!

Here’s the 10 in line for #10:

Clementine

I’ve liked Clementine for a long while, three or four years, at least.  And I’ve tried a whole host of combos to try to compliment her.  Clementine Lily Elinor is the standing combo. I like that her initials would mimic her first name: CLEM.  But it took a long time to get to her (and [...]
